Overview
Tim is a Partner at the Firm and heads its Corporate and Commercial Group. He was trained at the firm and has remained here since qualification.
Tim has spent over 20 years advising on all kinds of corporate acquisitions, disposals, mergers, de-mergers and re-organisations and specialises in advising family businesses. He is also experienced in the full range of commercial agreements, including software licensing, outsourcing, distribution, agency and know-how agreements.
Tim is a member of the Nottinghamshire Law Society Council and has edited its Bulletin for over 10 years.
Highlights
Recent matters of note include providing advice on software licences and outsourced payroll and HR contracts; advising the owners of a business on a Management Buy In, and advising a liquidator on the insolvent liquidation of a Company.

Tim gives “user-friendly” presentations for clients on matters including impact of TUPE on transactions, outsourcing issues, and general commercial and contract issues.
Outside of Work
Tim is a School Governor and a lifelong classic car enthusiast. Tim is also a keen skier and coaches rugby for the Kesteven Under 15’s at Grantham.
