Andrew is a Partner in the Commercial Client Services Group and regularly advises businesses across a number of sectors, and of varying sizes from the owner-managed business, to UK subsidiaries of international groups and PLCs.
Andrew has considerable experience in Information Technology matters and complex outsourcing arrangements and clients appreciate the responsiveness and commercial sense that Andrew brings to matters. Andrew also advises on all types of corporate transactions.
Recent matters of note include advising on software licences and outsourced payroll and HR contracts; dealing with a contentious company demerger; and advising on the UK aspects of an international group refinancing and providing life of contract advice on the management of a multi-million pound outsourcing arrangement with complex supply and service provisions from third party sub-contractors.
Andrew regularly gives “user-friendly” presentations for clients on matters including impact of TUPE on transactions, outsourcing issues, and general commercial and contract issues.
Outside of Work
Andrew is the founder, Chair and assistant coach of a fencing club in Newark on Trent, very occasionally sails and likes to travel a little further afield than the Reebok Stadium to follow Bolton Wanderers, whenever the opportunity arises. He also speaks a little German.
